Highlighter Series ✨ High End

Hi guys!!! So today is part 2 of our Highlighter Series! Today we’ll be discussing high end highlighters. I have one single and one palette to review for you guys!

So this is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Palette! Excuse my swatches lol I’m still learning how to do it right!! So I’m going to go left to right starting with 143! 143 is a beautiful darker gold color that’s simply gorgeous. Unfortunately it’s a little to dark for my skin tone to use as a highlighter but I love to use it as a shadow!! Next we have Daydream which I’m not gonna lie kinda scared me at first lol. It’s a beautiful orange color with gold reflects and it’s really grown on me. I actually use it way more than I thought I would!! Next is Glow Getter and it’s definitely a beautiful gold. It’s lighter then 143 and it’s a more “true” gold color. Next we have Forever Young which is an almost mauve color with a pinky reflect. I really love this one!! Next is Forever Lit and it’s a beautiful shimmery white with an almost pink reflect. This one is super intense which is definitely a plus for me! Lol. And last but definitely not least is Kitty Kat. This is definitely one of my favorites. It’s a gorgeous pink color with an almost gold reflect. These highlighters are definitely all very beautiful not chalky or powdery at all. And no chunky glitter either!!!

This one is Eclipse from the Jeffrey Star Manny MUA collab. This one is a beautiful champagne color with an almost peachy undertone. It’s very very intense and looks almost like liquid metal on the skin. This one is very light but it does look really good on medium skin tones as well. My friend got this too and it looks beautiful on her!! It is also buildable. It takes a couple of layers to get it super blinding but that can be good for people who blind people in space lol.

Well that’s it for today’s post!! I hope you’ve all enjoyed it!!! What high end highlighters do you guys enjoy??? Any recommendations!! Cause this girls always looking for another highlighter lol! See you guys on Sunday!!! ❤️

Highlighter Series ✨ Drugstore

Hey guys! So today is our first post in the highlighter series!! And as you saw I decided to start with drugstore. Now I personally think the drugstore has really stepped up their game with makeup! There are quite a few things that I want to share with you that I have found work just as good as high end brands. So be watching for a drugstore series coming soon!! But for now Highlighters!!

First one is Precious Petals by Wet and Wild. As you can see from the pictures it’s a very pretty pinky highlighter that has a golden sheen to it. This is definitely a favorite of mine. Wet and Wild has really stepped up their game with their makeup highlighters especially. This highlighter is only around $5 and let me tell you it’s good. Like really good! It’s not chalky or powdery at all. There’s no chunky glitter either. It’s very smooth to the touch and almost looks wet on the skin. This is a very blinding highlight which I personally love. I actually like to apply this after some setting spray when my skin is still damp and let me tell you I blind every time!!

This is Molten Gold from Maybelline. And let me tell you it lives up to its name!! This highlighter runs about $9 and is another one that is incredibly good for the price. I would actually compare this to Ofra’s Rodeo Drive. It’s not quite as gold but it’s still very close. This has an almost champagne shift to it as well which is very flattering. It’s super soft and just blends into the skin like a dream. This is another one of my favorites and I use it a lot!!! Like Precious Petals it’s not chalky or powdery and doesn’t have an chunky glitter. It’s definitely worth getting if you love an intense highlighter!!

Well that’s it for today guys!! I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post!! Have any of you tried these?? Do you have a drugstore highlighter that you can’t live without? Let me know!! See you guys on Friday!!! ❤️

Highlighter Series ✨

Hi Guys!!! So a few things before we start. I haven’t really had the best posting schedule as I’ve been getting everything with the blog together and getting used to it as well. But from now on I will be posting Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will also do bonus posts on Sunday here and there but I wanted to get on a better schedule and get more content to you guys!!! Ok not that that’s out of the way I decided to do a highlighter series this week!! There will be 4 posts in all so there will be a post on Sunday this week. These posts will be all about highlighters. I decided to divide them up into groups to make it a little easier to review them for you! So today I’m just giving an overview of what’s to come. Wednesday will be drugstore highlighters, Friday will be high end highlighters and Sunday will be liquid highlighters. The liquid highlighter post will have one drugstore and one high end highlighter reviewed. These posts will include my thoughts on each product and swatches!!! The Power of Makeup 💄💋

Hi guys!!! So today I thought we could talk about the Power of Makeup!! Makeup has the power to really transform you. It can transform your eyes to an exotic cat eye. It can give you more defined cheekbones an nose. It can make your cheeks look rosy. It can make your lips look bigger and more plump. Obviously the list can go on and on lol. It can take you from a light natural look to a dark vampy look with a few sweeps of a brush. Obviously I love makeup and am always wearing it. It makes me feel more confident and pretty. I’m not a huge fan of leaving the house without any on. I’m the girl that goes to work with a full face of makeup on lol. Even on days off if I’m going somewhere I wear at least a little. But I realized that my wearing of makeup was more of my way of covering up things I didn’t like. Not necessarily just because I enjoyed wearing it. So in days off I wouldn’t let myself wear any. I didn’t even fill in my eyebrows!! Lol and for me that’s a huuuuuge deal. But gradually makeup became something to enjoy again not just to cover everything up. I became more confident in my face being bare then I ever had before. I still wear all the makeup I used to but now it’s more about the art of it then my insecurities. So my picture that I have included in this post is a little hard to post. Part of my face is bare which while feeling a bit more confident is still a little hard to put out there. The other half is my usual makeup that I usually do. So just remember we all have things we’re insecure about. But we need to feel confident in ourselves. Because we’re all beautiful with or without makeup. Inside and out!!! Has anyone else ever felt this way?? Has makeup become more of a cover? Let me know in the comments I’d love to connect with you!! I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know me a bit better!! See you guys next time!❤️

Olay body wash VirtualVox review!!!

So I thought that since I had already did some explaining about Influenster itself and a VoxBox we would go ahead and do a VirtualVox review! So I’m in the Olay VirtualVox so I had to go to my local Walmart and take a picture of their display for this “mission”. Easier said then done when your trying not to look weird lol. So I posted my picture to Instagram and did some other missions such as Snapchat and Pinterest. So now my blog review!! I am already a huge fan of the Olay Fresh Outlast body wash. My absolute favorite is Cooling White Strawberries and mint. I especially love it in the summer because of the cooling sensation it gives. The smell is incredibly pleasant not to sweet which is a bonus for me because I hate super sweet scents. It always makes my skin so hydrated and refreshed every time I use it too. Plus Walmart usually has it on rollback so you can snatch it up for a really good price. So that’s my review and a little insight into what a VirtualVox from Influenster involves!! I hope you enjoy!! And this week I have a summer favorites going up!! See you loves soon!!! ❤️

Origins Voxbox review

So as I shared in my last post one of the big things about Influenster is you can receive free products to try. The Origins Voxbox is my lates box!! I received 3 products to try. 1. Ginzing refreshing scrub cleanser. Gentle enough to use every day I love using this in the morning! Infused with coffee bean and Panax Ginseng it really helps perk up my skin in the morning!! 2. Ginzing energy boosting gel moisturizer. Infused with the same ingredients as the scrub it has been hands down my favorite moisturizer for the summer. Super light weight it just sinks beautifully into the skin. Plus the citrus smell is soooooo good! 3. Ginzing refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff. Let me tell you this does what it says. I have a huuuuuge problem with puffy eyes and dark circles in the morning. A little dab of this and it’s so much better!! Now yes I received these for free. However all of my opinions are my own. I have super sensitive skin and as excited as I was to get a Voxbox I was worried it would mess up my skin. But this turned out so much better then I hoped!! And once I’m out I will be purchasing more. I also want to try some of their other products now too!! So all in all this box was a win!! I hope you guys enjoyed my mini review!! Let me know if you’ve tried Origins products!! Do you have a favorite?? Any recommendations?? Let me know!! Until next time! ❤️

Influenster

So I’m a huuuuuuge Influenster girl! I simply love this company and really enjoy the benefits belonging to them brings. On today’s post I want to give a little run down of what exactly Influenster is so hopefully for those who don’t know much about it can get some insight and see if it’s something they’d like to do! Ok so first off is downloading the Influenster app. Then making a account and connecting your social medias to the app. This is an important step for every social media you add you’ll raise your social impact. Which in turn will help you get into campaigns and earn free products to review!! After you connect your social media explore the app!! There are thousands of products to look through. Also review as many products as you can on the app. Products you have or have tried in the past. This shows Influenster your an active participant. Now Influenster does physical campaigns where they send actual products to you. After you receive the product you will need to “unlock” your product Badge. Influenster gives you certain tasks to do for every campaign. Like taking photos and posting them on Instagram, giving a review on Influenster and so on. Once those tasks are completed you simply follow the steps to upload your progress to your campaign. Once completed you will have unlocked your badge and this does two things. It gives you a chance to win even more free product from whatever brand you are reviewing. And it shows Influenster your serious about your reviews and this keeps you eligible for more campaigns. I’ve been with Influenster for about 7 months and am finishing up my third campaign with them involving physical products!! I’ve tried new products from Maybelline, Olay and now Origins!! Now Influenster has virtual campaigns as well. A virtual campaign is something that’s all online and you do similar things like a physical campaign like unlock your badge to possibly win free products. The tasks are a little different but similar. I’ve had to go to different stores to take pictures of a display that the campaign is about. Like my last of the new Hourglass confession lipsticks. I had to go to my local Sephora to take some pictures of their display and swatch some of the lipsticks. The virtual campaigns are way more frequent then the physical campaigns but still a lot of fun!! I’ve actually won 3 different virtual campaigns and received some very nice prizes for my effort so it is possible to win!! And trust me I never win anything lol. So this is the basics of Influenster!! I hope you guys enjoyed my break down of it! And I hope that for those you haven’t tried it yet you’ll give it a chance!! If anyone is interested I have a link near the bottom of my blog page to get you over to the site so you guys can check it out!! So do you think you’ll give it a shot?? Have any of you already tried it?? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!! Until next time loves!!

Jaclyn Hill Palette ❤️

This is probably one of the most talked about palettes this year mainly because of the Queen Jaclyn Hill herself. This palette has already sold out twice and I can honestly say it’s well worth the money. I was lucky enough to have gotten this palette on the first launch! I even took my break at work to make sure I could snatch one up lol. Shhhhhhhhh that’s a secret lol. So I’ve had this palette for well over a month and I’m still as obsessed with it now as when I first opened it up! The formula is definitely a little different than a typical Morphe palette. I have 2 Morphe palettes already and I love them very much but I will say that the formula on Jaclyn’s is a little more creamy and blends just a little better. The pigment on these shadows are out of this world too! Plus the colors she put in this palette make this so versatile and you can create a ton of looks with just her palette. All in all it’s probably my ride or die for the moment and I’m very very happy for Jaclyn Hill that her dream became a reality! Have you guy gotten it? Do you want to? Would anyone like swatches? Let me know in the comments!! As always all the love and thanks to everyone for being here!! Until next time! ❤️
